My Story and What I Do

I’m David Cozzens, a certified Leadership and Executive Coach with the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM7), I possess the expertise and credentials to empower your growth.

Throughout my career, I've managed numerous large-scale transformational programs for companies like Putnam Investments, Fidelity Investments, and NTT Data. This experience has equipped me with a deep understanding of the challenges and demands of IT delivery.

My coaching philosophy hinges on building confidence - the cornerstone of effective leadership. It all starts by recognizing your accomplishments and acknowledging the progress you've already made. I believe in a positive, strengths-based approach. We'll work together to identify your unique skills and experiences, and then leverage them to propel you forward.

One of my key coaching techniques is helping clients reframe their perspective. Instead of dwelling on perceived shortcomings, we'll focus on the "why" behind your actions and decisions. This allows us to build upon your existing strengths and uncover new approaches for tackling challenges.

Additionally, I utilize goal-setting strategies to help you define your aspirations and develop actionable plans to achieve them. Throughout the coaching process, I'll hold you accountable, celebrate your milestones, and provide ongoing support to ensure you stay on track.
